Lynn Grodzki, LCSW, MCC is both a psychotherapist and a life & business coach.
Lynn Grodzki, LCSW, MCC (Master Certified Coach) is a psychotherapist in practice for over 30 years, and a master certified coach who has been working in the field since 1996. Known best by therapists for her writing as a business coach, she is often considered the guru of practice-building. Tens of thousands of therapists have read her books, attended her workshops and, with her guidance, learned how to operate their practices with integrity while increasing their profitability.
In her new book, Therapy with a Coaching Edge: Partnership, Action and Possibility in Every Session (W.W. Norton, 2018), Grodzki takes readers inside her successful clinical therapy practice for the first time. She explains her cutting-edge model of psychotherapy, designed to bring elements of a dynamic, proactive coaching style into a therapeutic setting. Grodzki shows therapists how to be more pragmatic, transparent and authentic in their role, to improve client results and retention. By crafting a series of adapted coaching skills to fit within therapeutic purposes, targeted to address vulnerable populations, she encourages therapists to promote insight as they use these skills to call clients into action.
Lynn’s previous books, all published by W.W. Norton, include the best-selling Building Your Ideal Private Practice and Twelve Months to Your Ideal Private Practice: A Workbook.
